(I had to sneak the pic of me and my amazing boyfriend in there! <3)
I am so excited to share with you guys one of my favorite blogger projects to date with Eloquii! To celebrate the launch of their classic tulle skirt the brand asked four blogger babes to DIY the tulle skirt and customize our own way. I chose to make the ultimate plus size Barbie skirt by making the skirt a mini, sewing on large rhinestones, and adding a clear PVC skirt overlay.
The best part? they are auctioning off their one-of-a-kind creations with 100% of the proceeds benefitting our favorite charities. In addition, Eloquii is offering the auction winners a $250 ELOQUII credit & a styling consultation with our design team.
I chose my Charity to be The Hetrick-Martin Institute and would love to share a little bit of their mission statement with you below.
Hetrick-Martin Institute believes all young people, regardless of sexual orientation or identity, deserve a safe and supportive environment in which to achieve their full potential. Hetrick-Martin creates this environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth between the ages of 13 and 24 and their families.
Through a comprehensive package of direct services and referrals, Hetrick-Martin seeks to foster healthy youth development. Hetrick-Martin’s staff promotes excellence in the delivery of youth services and uses its expertise to create innovative programs that other organizations may use as models.

I was introduced to the Hetrick-Martin Institute a few years ago through my good friend Bobby Graham from GQ, who is on the board of directors, and I fell in love with the cause. I believe that everyone deserves a safe environment to strive regardless of discrimination and the Hetrick-Martin institute does just that. I hope to bring visibility to the cause and all the amazing services that HMI provides. To learn more about this charity go to www.hmi.org.
