Being from the Northwest where our claim to fame was nirvana and grunge music/fashion, plaid shirts has been a part of my wardrobe for as long as I can remember. Typically my plaids come out in the winter but I wanted to integrate a plaid grunge look into my summer wardrobe without going for my usual Margie move of tying it around my waist wearing short shorts. I tied the plaid into a crop to add shape and added a statement necklace to dress the look up a bit. The overalls are awesome because they are made of super soft and stretchy jegging material to show off my shape and stay comfortable.
