The weather has been surprisingly warm lately here in NYC! I of course have been taking full advantage of it by rocking my skirts and dresses even more (shocking I know ..not lol). The thing I do love about winter though is layering. Here I have taken a thick denim shirt form Evans and buttoned to the top paired with a statement necklace and vintage inspired jumper dress from Modcloth.

Plaid Jacket and Leather Envelope Skirt

For today's outfit post I decided to go for a edgy lumberjack look. The weather on the west coast has been decent so wearing a skirt with a medium weight coat is totally doable. This ASOS jacket is perfect for layering and I absolutely love the bold nature of it. Again I am SOOOO happy that Forever 21 made a plus size version of the famed Zara envelope skirt! I love the skirt even more when I pair with the awesome Kixie tights that in a size D totally fit perfect. I added a little gold bling because...well lets be real, thats just me.

Top-and-Skirt Combo

Wearing: Simply Be top, Mynt 1792 skirt (Madison Plus), Forerver 21 jacket, ASOS shoes, Kixie tights 

 This Simply be tween top has been sitting in my closet for about a month now. I love the distinctive white collar and boxy structure and knew I needed to finally wear it out. I received this MYNT 1792 peplum skirt from Madison Plus last week and the two paired perfectly! I threw on with my Forever 21 varsity jacket to dress the look down a bit. I also decided to offset the monochromatic pallet by spicing the look up with these awesome leopard print pointed toe booties from ASOS.

Fall Plaid Favorites

Wearing: Modcloth dress, Vintage sweater, Sock Dream socks, Anthropologie shoes (old)  

I LOVE THIS DRESS !! I received this goodie a few months ago and have been wearing it out. This time of year I am always drawn to a great plaid. I love the short length and very "Clueless" feel the ModCloth dress exudes. I have been pairing the dress lately under an oversized pullover sweater but decided to switch things up by pairing with a slouch vintage sweater, knit thigh highs, and flatform loafers.
