ASOS Curve Wishlist !

Ok so if you dont know this about me by now I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some ASOS Curve. As the holidays approach it has me thinking of some of my favorite things. This got me thinking that over the next few weeks I will post a list of my favorite offerings from the websites that I love. This week is the amazing ASOS where I can get everything from creepers-neoon beanies-satchels-to amazing mint green plus size moto jackets.... and that is just to name a few.

Blue and Green Sweater

Wearing: Vintage sweater, Nordstrom Skirt (similar), Vintage Chanel purse, Michael Stars sunglasses (similar)

So just the other day I got my hair done by one of my BFF's Zoe and she owns this amazing salon called dept. z . I absolutly love my cut/color and while there I decided to get a lil crazy with the Kevin Murphy Color Bug  and add some pink to the platinum. Its temporary and fun while giving me the feel of pink hair without the commitment.

Some links to my fav black skirts available now !

Feelin Green

Wearing: Forever 21 hat (similar), Thrifted sweater, We Love Colors tights, Steve Madden shoes (similar), Sunglasses (similar), Cambridge Satchel bag

I am LOVING these We Love Color tights! Particularly in this forest green color. Most colored tights don't go up to my size but with We love Color their plus sized hosiery is offered in every color imaginable and basically up to a 5x. Now that I have found awesome colored tights for fall my next must have is the perfect knit slouchy hat which I found for $5 at the Times Square Forever 21. I love mixing the homeless chic look with a little bit of bling and thats where my fav faux diamond necklace comes into play.

Thrifty Nifty

Wearing: Vintage Sweater, Vintage Dress (similar), Topshop shoes, Sunglasses

This whole outfit was thrifted a few weeks ago (minus the accessories). It was actually fairly warm out today so no tights needed. The dress underneath the sweater is sleeveless and made of 100% stretch. Though I knew when I purchased it I would NEVER wear it by itself ( I look somewhat like a sausage)  its an awesome layering piece for fall.

Psychedelic Dress

Wearing: Alfani dress, Vintage sweater (similar), Hue Knit tights, Jeffery Campbell shoes, Michael Stars sunglasses (similar)

Ok I finally did it .. I added tights to my look. The weather has been so on and off ( The roads were covered in snow just days ago) my layering has been all over the place. What really drew me to purchase this awesome Alfani dress last spring was the print. I love that it had a short fit and bold print. I liked the idea of pairing these JC wedges that of set the black tights.

Seeing Red

Wearing: Vintage Shirt and Jacket, American Apparel leggings, Forever 21 necklace, Nine West boots, No Brand Sunglasses (similar)

Yes I know, red again. I have noticed myself being super drawn to this color for fall. Whether it be my bold red vintage blazers and sweaters or my red winter leggings, I am pretty much obsessed. Especially since its getting way colder now the color is perfect for layering and still making a statement.

Flower Power

Wearing: Vintage sweater, Mix It necklace, Torid Pants, Aldo Shoes, Sunglasses (similar)

I recently fell in love with these floral Torrid pants. They are suppppeeerrr comfortable and I love the flower statement. I have been trying to find fresh outfits to wear them with so I can fully integrate them into my wardrobe.

Stud Love

Wearing: Old Navy skirt, Torrid Jacket (similar), Kardashion Kollection shirt (similar), Top Shop shoes, Michael  Stars sunglasses (similar)

I have been obsessed with adding studs to things for quite some time now. While going through my closet today I ran across this studded DIY project gem. I love mixing together textures and prints that don't make sense, this is one of my fav outfits used with the jacket yet!

Galaxy Quest

Wearing: Vintage shirt, Converse trouser (similar), Canyon River Blues sweater (similar) , Nine West shoes, Sunglasses (similar)

On yet another day filled of dreary weather I have spent the morning running errands. This awesome vintage shirt my friend gave me is my version of a comfortable Christopher Kane type print.  The rousers were a Target buy that I got last year and are EXTREMELY comfortable. I love the pleat detail to help refine the relaxed knit material.

The Robe

Wearing: Worthington Jacket, Vintage robe made into dress, Sunglasses (black), Mia shoes (similar)

I saw this vintage silk robe a while ago at the Value Village thrift store in Washington state and knew I needed it. At a mere $5 I loved the idea of transforming it with a belt into a fun wrap dress. Being super comfortable I refined the look with a worthington blazer I got at JC Penny's a while ago on clearance. The blood tangerine color is a favorite of mine right now and am super into the fact it can be a stand alone statement piece.

Mashup Monday

Wearing: Vintage Jacket, Vintage Shirt (Similar), American Apparel leggings, Topshop shoes (Similar), Cambridge Satchel bag, Off brand sunnies (Similar

As all my friends in NYC are preparing for the hit of hurricane Sandy I am here enjoying SUCH a beautiful day on the West Coast! I remember last year when I was in NYC preparing for Irene terrified prior but so relived post hurricane that it was mostly a lot of hype and hope Sandy is the same. As for my outfit I have been on a kick lately of pairing a mashup of wildly different print outfits. I am super into the particular mashup especially paired with my absolute favorite Cambridge Satchel bag my best friend Ashlan got me for my birthday ( Its engraved with "Margie" ) . Since a lot of my clothes are an large integration of vintage clothing Its hard to post links to purchase the outfits. With each post I will try to find similar clothing options for purchase. Till tomorrow <3

Sunday Fun day

Wearing: Michael Kors Jacket (Similar style) , Vintage shirt, Forever 21 skirt (Similar), Aldo boots (Similar), vintage accessories, Vintage Chanel purse

On an awesomely overcast Fall day I was out and about wearing my favorite stretch motto jacket and skirt. It was great because the weather wasn't super cold so I could wear one of my favorite metallic silver skirts from Forever 21 ! I thought I would liven things up with one of my fav vintage tie dye shirts . Its a fun way to comfortably make a statement on a Sunday afternoon <3
