Boy Sweatshirt and Skirt Combo

Wearing: Forever 21 + sweatshirt & hat, Old Navy skirt, Nine West booties, ASOS clutch

Is it just me or has Forever 21 + been having some super fly clothes lately? I am always a fan of the price point but they seem to be having a plus size option for everything I am looking for. I saw this Boy sweatshirt and fell in love! I paired with one of my favorite wrap mini skirts and my fall favorite brown lace up ankle boots.

P.S  I am soooooo happy its beanie season again... you may be seeing my collection very soon !

Simply Be Motorcycle Jacket !

Wearing: Simply Be moto jacket, Old Navy shift ( last year), and Topshop boots

Anyone who knows me or reads my blog knows that I am a sucker for a moto jacket. I love them in all colors and materials but the classic leather style is my ULTIMATE must have. When I got this in the mail from Simply Be I of course had to wear it right away. I decided to break out one of my favorite bold pink shifts that I got last year. I added an extra personal flair by pairing with a matching ankle sock... which is always a favorite of mine as we transition to fall.

Leather Cap & Plaid

Wearing: Old Navy dress, Target plaid, Topshop shoes, ASOS hat

So this is totally my 90s throwback look. I have been loving the idea of cambat-esque boots with a classic plaid tied around the waist. The plaid becomes an interesting focal point accessory to the somewhat bland solid color dress. I have definitely been loving my leather cap, I never thought I would love the look of a hat like this before ... thank you Herve Leger F2013 runway !

I have said this before and I will say it again I am a sucker for a good printed pant ! These Simply Be ones fit perfect at a size 18 and are soo comfortable ( thanks to the elastic waistband back). Here I have paired the statement pants with a more down played blouse.

A Bold Yellow

Wearing: Old navy dress, American Apparel bandeau, Forever 21 necklace, Fashion to Figure clutch, Rampage shoes

Yellow was everywhere during last year's Spring 2013 runway shows (I'm still obsessing over Louis Vuitton’s yellow-and-white checkerboard looks). Since winter's dragging and I'm longing for a little sunshine, the hue acts a simple mood-booster and a constant reminder that spring is around the corner. You can find this season's yellow pieces in shades ranging from a light and creamy to bold and neon, all of which look amazing as outfit accents or a look's whole focal point.
At left, I am wearing a canary-colored dress I picked up a few months ago at Old Navy. And while the color looks great paired with classic black, it works just as well against navy. Tip: for a bolder look, try pairing your favorite yellow piece with a black and white striped one for the ultimate Spring 2013 combo.

Stud Love

Wearing: Old Navy skirt, Torrid Jacket (similar), Kardashion Kollection shirt (similar), Top Shop shoes, Michael  Stars sunglasses (similar)

I have been obsessed with adding studs to things for quite some time now. While going through my closet today I ran across this studded DIY project gem. I love mixing together textures and prints that don't make sense, this is one of my fav outfits used with the jacket yet!

Wearing: Cambridge satchel bag, Old Navy pants, Vintage blazer and top, Gap shoes, Forever 21 shoes

Forget what those old-fogy magazines tell you: Just because printed pants are "busy" doesn't mean they're off-limits for plus-size women. It you feel good, you'll look good! Wear them with a neutral button-up or t-shirt, and add a blazer and platforms to make it feel a little more special.
