As a plus size woman, the versatility of this particular combo is perfect, especially when you just don’t know what to wear on those crazy-cold days (like today!). Plus Size Fall Trench Coat Style

You know that article of clothing that you bought on SUPER clearance and have had forever ? That is definitly this trench for me . I bought it on Target years ago and I have been able to transition it to my fall and spring wardrobe every year. Even though my token personal style tends to be edgy, I have always loved the look of a classic trench. It adds instant sophistication to your outfit and helps you get the the transitional weather outside. I decided to go with a all black ensemble for this look but have often paired my trench with skinny jeans and booties. Forever in my mind as the "it" Breakfast at Tiffany's jacket I will forever have a trench in my closet .

Saying Yes To White !

Oh, how I love a crisp white-on-white ensemble. The look communicates total confidence and is definitely more eye-catching than basic black. Most of us plus size women generally tend to steer clear of white clothing because of its non-slimming reputation, but when done right, white can look just as sleek as your favorite plus size black staples. Yosi Samra & Adeam NYFW

Back at NYFW I had an awesome day wearing my new staple leather pieces a Dorothy Perkins envelope skirt and ASOS strappy booties. Of the shows I attended that day I really really enjoyed the Adeam presentation that was held at the tents. The delicate materials crafted in such an interesting way was a breath of fresh air. 

At the end of the day I stopped by one of my fav shoe designers Yosi Samra's HQ in Tribecca. Hanging with Yosi staffer Morgan I got to preview some of the upcoming shoe styles as well as revisit some of my favorite staples.

NYFW SS 2014 Day 4

On sunday I attended the Lela Rose and Tracy Reese shows at the tents. Tracy's show was full of unexpected bold stripes and pops of fabulous orange. After the shows I attended the RewardStyle blogger event at the Empire Hotel in NYC and got to hang out with the lovely Kellie of And I Get Dressed as well as Gabi  of Gabi Fresh pictured with me above.

The Pierre psssttt NYFW is in 2 days !

I love the Pierre hotel ! it is crafted beautifully and kind of takes you back in time. My grandparent's, who have both passed away, got engaged at the Pierre hotel in the 1940s. I have never taken the time to really appreciate the beauty of the craftsman ship so thought I should definitely do a blog post in front of it !

Vogue Influencers Brahmin Event

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the Vogue Influencer event for Brahmin in NYC. I attended the event with my good friend Melanie ( pretty obsessed with her outfit that night ! ) and we were introduced to their new Atelier line by the brands style council. This council included the beautiful Kim from Eat Sleep Wear and it was so great to catch up with her and the LA move. The new line was full of metallics and luxurious leather finishes. I also LOVED their standard line that offered everything from beautiful mixed texture leather satchels and oxblood weekender bags. The pop of neon clutch was a fun unexpected piece that I was immediately drawn to .

Meatpacking Prints

The weather has been hit or miss the last week. On this particular day it was bearable enough in the city to pair my Forever 21 embellished collar top with my new fav printed DP light weight summer jacket and Torrid shorts . I loved the idea of pairing the light colored mint top with equally light shorts so that the print would really stand out.
