Yosi Samra & Adeam NYFW

WEARING: JC Penney blouse, Dorothy Perkins skirt, Asos shoes

Back at NYFW I had an awesome day wearing my new staple leather pieces a Dorothy Perkins envelope skirt and ASOS strappy booties. Of the shows I attended that day I really really enjoyed the Adeam presentation that was held at the tents. The delicate materials crafted in such an interesting way was a breath of fresh air.
At the end of the day I stopped by one of my fav shoe designers Yosi Samra's HQ in Tribecca. Hanging with Yosi staffer Morgan I got to preview some of the upcoming shoe styles as well as revisit some of my favorite staples.

Margie Plus: Tuxedo-Inspired Pieces For Every Style And Budget

Tuxedo-inspired womenswear has been a major trend this year. This season's looks give such great homage to YSL’s forever sexy 1960s Le SmokingimagePlus size brands have been offering both conventional and unconventional interpretations to the classic tuxedo look… hello, prints and texture! The wardrobe staple can simply spice up a work outfit or even work as an evening gown alternative. The ensembles look great paired with everything from aprinted collar blouse to a casual v-neck tee.
I purchased some amazing pieces from JC Penney(whose plus size department I am loving) recently and decided to try the short version of the trend while in L.A. From cropped to a longer cut, here are tuxedo-inspired looks that will fit any woman's style and budget. Tip: One stop at your local tailor and voila! Your perfect-fitting tuxedo pants can become the perfect pair of summer tuxedo shorts.
